The Huskies opened the scoring in the first period as John Apsassin found the back of the net midway through the frame.

In the second period a disastrous 1:44 struck Fort St. John five minutes into the frame. The Navigators scored three unanswered goals to take a quick 3-1 lead. The Huskies battled back however as they closed the gap to one with a powerplay goal, but 31 seconds after that Peace River restored their two goal lead. In the final minute of the second period the Huskies again closed the gap to one entering the third.

The Navigators scored twice in the opening 4:42 of the final frame. Fort St. John got to within two but they would get no closer the rest of the way as the Navs added a final tally at the 11:25 mark to round out the scoring.

Finding the back of the net for the Huskies were John Apsassin, Kody Disher, Cayle Bell, and Thomas Webster.

The Huskies will be back in action tonight at the North Peace Arena for a game against the Beaverlodge Blades at 8 p.m.
