Senior Flyers hope to close the gap on Spirit River tonight

Trailing the Spirit River Rangers by three points with four games to go, the task is tough for the Fort St. John Senior Flyers if they hope to catch them in the standings. The good news for Fort St. John is that they control their own destiny in catching Spirit River as two of those four games are against the Rangers, one of those being tonight in Spirit River.

Fort St. John is coming off an easy victory over the winless Grimshaw Huskies which they took 9-2. Meanwhile in their last game Spirit River defeated Manning 7-1.

After tonight’s game the Flyers will make their way to Grimshaw on Saturday night. The next home game for Fort St. John will be the final regular season home game against Spirit River on February 5.
