Travel advisories issued for many Peace highways

Drive BC has issued a number of travel advisories for highways in the Peace due to the freezing rain. There is currently a warning for Highway 2 from the Alberta border to the junction with Highway 97 North, and for Highway 49 from Dawson Creek to the Alberta border.

Travel advisories from Drive BC remain in effect from Taylor to Wonowon as well. There’s also an advisory from Tumbler Ridge to the Hudson’s Hope bridge, Highway 52 from Tumbler Ridge to Arras, and Highway 52 East from Tumbler Ridge to the Highway 2 junction. Highway 97 is under a travel advisory 42 kilometres south of the Highway 52 junction in Arras to Taylor.

Travellers are advised to use caution and make alternate plans if possible.
