According to the Sun, the Calgary Police won’t identify the man on the motorcycle, but say they have charged the person driving it. The collision happened on May 7 near Crowchild Trail and 32 avenue NW in Calgary.
In a quote given to the Calgary Sun, Staff Sgt. Paul Stacey said “The operator of the motorcycle has been charged with failing to yield to a yellow light.” Morrison was charged formally this past Friday based on witness statements and evidence from the scene.
Morrison still faces months of rehab after breaking his leg and femur.
The two women in their 20s driving the car did not suffer any serious injuries.
