Fort St. John Fire Department execute rope rescue at look out

Members with the Fort St. John Fire Department responded to a call yesterday around 7:40 p.m. of a male going over the edge at the look out. In the process the individual lit a fire as a signal for help which also needed to be taken care of by the department.

The male did sustain some injuries, however the extent is unknown at this time.

Both the fire department and RCMP were on the scene. The fire department was on hand for around an hour.

More details on what happened are expected tomorrow.
