Today is the last day for early, and online registration for the Mother’s Day Rotary Run and Walk. The event will start at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday and $2.00 from every entry will be going towards the Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society.

There’s a new route for this year. It will start at the Surerus fields and the 10 kilometre run will end near Northern Lights College on the East Bypass Road.

Those registering today for either the five kilometre run/walk, or the ten kilometre run will be charged $15, and $20 respectively for taking part. After today the cost increases $5 for each distance.

There is also a children’s one kilometre dash which is free of charge at 11:15.

A pancake breakfast is included with the sign up, and will take place after the trophy presentations which is slated for 11:30.
