The North Peace Leisure Pool will be one of many places on June 18 participating in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. The aim of the worldwide campaign is to encourage the safety of children in and around the water by taking part in swimming lessons.

The local session will be held starting at 10:00 a.m. and will be taught be several instructors. The lesson is expected to last for about 30 minutes.

The event is free for all ages to attend, however it is required that you register in advance by calling 250-787-8178, or by visiting the pool.
