Power outage caused by collision in part of the City

Two hundred Hydro customers lost power in Fort St. John early Sunday morning after a collision.

A pick-up truck hit a power pole in the south-east part of the City.  The outage affected 200 customers for about 4 hours.  The power was out from 3:30 a.m. to 7 a.m.  The outage affected customers West of 77th St., North of 85th Ave., South of 93 Ave., East of 82nd St.

The cause of the collision is not known at this time, but the RCMP, Fort St. John Fire Department and B.C. Ambulance did respond to the call.
