Fort St. John’s Jamie Herrington win’s world title

Fort St. John’s Jamie Herrington is a world champion.  Herrington won the gold medal fight in Las Vegas Saturday at the World Championship of Amateur MMA.

With a third round knockout Herrington beat her competitor from Ireland.  Herrington was one of two fighters from Fort St. John competing at the event.

Dylan Lielke won his first fight on Tuesday beating his competitor from South Africa in the third round by a TKO.  Unfortunately in his second fight of the tournament Lielke lost to a competitor from Italy knocking him out of the event.
