Grande Prairie RCMP investigating assault at Shell gas station

Grande Prairie RCMP is asking the public to come forward if they witnessed an assault that took place at a Shell gas station on Poplar Drive in that community. The assault occurred on July 8 at 7:30 a.m. as a 38 year old male was bear sprayed by someone trying to steal the victim’s truck.

The suspect fled the scene driving a dark Dodge Ram 1500. He’s described as Caucasian in appearance with scruffy brown hair. He was approximately six feet tall, appeared to be in his 30s and was wearing a dark green hoodie at the time.
