Last week Jim and Margaret Little made a donation of $1,000 to the Peace Valley Landowner Association to assist with legal fees in their battle against Site C. The donation was made in honour of Ethel and Leo Rutledge as according to a PVLA release, “the Rutledges’ legacy to the Peace people was to save the Peace River Valley from further flooding.”

The Little’s have called the Peace River country home for 70 years as stated in the release. In the late 70s and into the 80s they became involved with the Save the Valley Committee, and the Peace Valley Environment Association.
