Fort St. John will get its say in the provincial budget this October

A videoconference will be held for residents of Fort St. John to give their input on what the provincial budget should look like on October 7th.

The conference will be held from 9 am to 12 pm. Dawson Creek also has a videoconference, taking place from 9 am to 12 pm.

Between September and October, the Finance Committee will be touring the province through visits and videoconference meetings for 15 different communities in British Columbia.

Victoria, Vancouver, Castlegar, Kelowna, Kamloops, Nanaimo, and Surrey will have public hearings.

The rest of the communities listed (Delta, Prince George, Terrace, Williams Lake, Abbotsford, Fort Nelson, Cranbrook, and Quesnel) will be conducting the videoconferences.

House is in session on the week of September 28th, thus Delta is having a videoconference with the committee.

Transcripts of the meetings will also be available shortly afterwards.
