Miracle Treat Day happening at Dairy Queen in Fort St. John

How would you like to enjoy a blizzard at Dairy Queen for lunch and not feel guilty? In fact, it may even make you feel proud. That’s because today is the 13th Annual Miracle Treat Day, when all proceeds collected from blizzards are donated to the local Children’s Miracle Network.

One of the organizers of the local Miracle Treat Day, Linda Patterson is encouraging local business to get involved, by either treating employees to a blizzard today, or purchasing coupons, which entitles you to a free blizzard while still securing the donation when it’s used at a later time.

In the 30 years of collaborative sponsorship with Children’s Miracle Network, Dairy Queen has raised $100 million, which goes towards helping children in need across North America.

If you want to get involved, stop by Dairy Queen in Fort St. John today or contact Patterson today at 250 785 6316.

Children’s Miracle Network is a not for profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America. Each year, the 14 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in Canada provide “the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education” to help kids overcome diseases and injuries.

Children’s Miracle Network is a unique charity, as the contributions stay local and are distributed to the most urgent and priority needs within that children’s hospital.
