North Peace Leisure Pool to be closed for scheduled maintenance

The North Peace Leisure Pool will be closed for scheduled maintenance starting this Sunday through September 27. The pool will re-open on the 28th with a fall schedule.

Work at the facility will consist of the replacement of pumps and hoses, as well as taking care of a few leaks.

The regular maintenance is a joint effort with City staff and contractors brought in from out of town. As for why the maintenance wasn’t done prior to opening a few weeks ago, restoration contractors were in the process of cleaning the facility and needed exclusive access.
