Over 1,000 people to take part in Emperor’s Challenge

This year’s Emperor’s Challenge will take place on Saturday. 1,057 people will be participating with things getting underway at 9 a.m.

Registration this year reached its cap at a record pace as the event was full just 20 hours after people were able to declare their interest.

According to the event’s website nearly half of those taking part in the 20 kilometre run will be doing so for the first time. Almost 40 per cent of this year’s participants are from Fort St. John, with another 20 per cent being from Dawson Creek.
