The Fort St. John RCMP is investigating a robbery that occurred at Casey’s Liquor Store yesterday afternoon.

A suspect with a knife demanded cash from an employee at the store around 1:20 PM, and fled on foot with all the money from the register down the alley behind Casey’s – towards the bypass road.

Police searched the area, and made numerous patrols, but were unable to locate the man.

The suspect is described as being anywhere from 20 to 25 years old, approximately 6′ tall and having a slim build. He was wearing a camo toque, a red hoodie, jeans and runners.

He wore a black bandana around his face during the robbery.
