Lakepoint Golf and Country Club held their club championship over the weekend. In the championship flight Shando Goddard took the win with a one stroke victory over Ritch Hosker.

After his win Goddard said the rain over the duration of the weekend made things extra challenging, but he was able to make the shots when he needed to secure the win.

“It was challenging out there. The weather with all the rain out there was rain gear on, rain gear off. The course was playing tough because it was so wet. I was able to get it around pretty decently given the weather.”
