Grande Prairie RCMP are trying to locate a 55 year old male who is wanted in connection to aggravated assault.

On July 26th, 2015, police responded to a complaint where two people were stabbed in the area of 100th St. and 97th Ave.

A warrant for arrest has now been issued for 55-year-old Tony Brian Whitford of the Grande Prairie area, who is wanted on 2 counts of aggravated assault and 2 counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.

It is believed that Whitford may have fled to Edmonton.

Whitford is described as Aboriginal, grey hair, brown eyes, 5’8” tall and 200 lbs.
