Fort St. John RCMP is on scene at North Peace Secondary School. The school is under a “hold and secure” situation according to district superintendent Dave Sloan and there is no threat to students currently.

Aside from saying officers are taking every precaution to keep everyone safe, Sloan had no further details to share.

A call has been placed to police for more details on the situation.
