Good Citizenship medal

This is the first year government will formally honour BC’s ‘most community-minded citizens.’

The Medal of Good Citizenship reflects ‘generosity, service, acts of selflessness and outstanding contribution to community life.’

British Columbians of any age can be nominated for this award, and good citizenship takes many forms – from a community hero who stands up for the rights of vulnerable citizens, to a life-long volunteer who gives their time to a charitable cause.

Successful nominees will be recognized at a special ceremony hosted by government in late 2015.
