The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has confirmed the Overwaitea Food Group is recalling field cucumbers sold across BC and Alberta.

The company is asking customers to return or dispose of field cucumbers bought unwrapped and in bulk on or before last Friday.

They also ask in-store products that contain them, such as salads or sushi, be returned or thrown out as well.

No cases of illness have been reported in Canada yet.
