Trafficking charges laid for a resident of Horse Lake

HORSE LAKE, A.B. - Beaverlodge RCMP have released information regarding drug trafficking charges in Horse Lake, Alberta.

In honour of the hard work and dedication put in by the many sports coaches across the province, the provincial government has declared this week as British Columbia Coaches Week. The week coincides with National Coaches Week across the country.

A release from the province states coaches are an essential component of an athlete’s development and the
recent success of B.C. athletes at the Canada Winter Games and both the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games are a testament to the strength of the sport system in the province.

Through the end of Saturday athletes are encouraged to take a selfie with their coach and post it on Twitter with the hashtag #ThanksCoach and sending it to @CoachesViaSport, or ViaSport on Facebook or Instagram for a chance to win an unspecified prize for their coach. The winners will be announced September 28.
