It has been more than 24 hours since an AMBER Alert was issued for Hailey Dunbar-Blanchette of Blairemore, AB.

BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, and even Montana have issued AMBER alerts for any sighting of the 2-year-old.

Hailey is described as having light brown hair with bangs, brown eyes, and a small frame – weighing 40 lbs and standing 2’1″.

The suspect is in what looks like a newer white van, with a flag attached to an antenna on the back.

Later that morning, RCMP were called to a house in Blairemore, where the body of Hailey’s father, 27-year-old Terry Blanchette, was discovered.

The Southern Serious Crimes Branch investigators were called in, and are now investigating this death as a homicide, saying the death seems suspicious.

Anyone with information about the investigation is asked to call Crowsnest Pass RCMP at 403-562-2866 or local police.
