This year’s Terry Fox Run will be held on Sunday at Northern Lights College. The run/walk event is slated to get underway at 10 a.m. and has a one kilometre run for children, as well as a five and ten kilometre distance.

Pledge sheets can be picked up from Pomeroy Sport Centre. Organizers are looking for volunteers to help out at the event. Anyone wanting to pitch in is encouraged to contact Ken Lane at 250-261-4860.

The Terry Fox Run has been going on for 35 years. Last year’s Fort St. John event had 61 runners participating, and $1,555 was raised.
