Forgot your garbage day? There’s an app for that.

Available on the App store and google play store for free, The City of Fort St. John has developed an app that can instantly find your garbage collection schedule.

Simply put in your address, and the app does the rest. It also can tell you how to dispose of household items that don’t belong in the garbage.

Each household is supplied with a specifically designed 250 litre cart that should be rolled out to the sidewalk by 8:00 am each morning.

The garbage collection schedules continue on regularly through holidays – with the exception of Christmas and New Years Eve, where collection resumes the next day.

Get the iPhone app, or the Android App.
