The CBC is reporting two men were attacked by a grizzly bear near Buckinghorse River.

An official with the Join Rescue Co-ordination Centre in Victoria told the CBC, a helicopter was dispatched from Comox to help the men.  They were medevaced to the Fort Nelson Hospital.

At this time there are very few details about the incident and the condition of the two men.  The only information available is the attack happened near Buckinghorse River, which is between Fort Nelson and Fort St. John.
