24-year-old Lisa Miel has been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the death of Kirk Morin on Sunday night in Taylor.

She was taken into custody when the Fort St. John RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a white pick-up truck. Further investigations lead to the discovery of Morin on the easement between Cherry Avenue and the Alaska Highway.

Morin was the registered owner of the truck.

RCMP were still at the scene on Tuesday investigating exactly what happened that night.
