Beaverlodge RCMP have arrested a woman as a result of a traffic stop on Highway 43 on Wednesday.

38-year-old Sheila Ferguson of Horse Lake has since been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking.

Ferguson will appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court on December 9th.

Police say 36 Fentanyl pills were seized from inside the vehicle – which they estimate is worth about $1,400 by street value.
