Provincial Crown counsel has stayed charges against two Fort St. John men after RCMP seized guns, drugs, and money from a Prince George motel room earlier this year – as reported by the Prince George Citizen.

19-year-old Trevor Christopher Ernest Loe and 29-year-old Dominik Teale each were facing six firearms charges and one count each of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen property under $5,000.

The duo was arrested on January 22nd after RCMP showed up at the motel located on Highway 16 West – acting on a tip.

At the motel, RCMP found three handguns, which were reported stolen from Abbotsford last October, drugs including crack cocaine and ecstasy pills, and a large amount of money.

Police also said at the time that a search of a car associated to the two turned up property which was believed to have been stolen in Fort St. John.

No reason for the decision was given during a brief hearing in Prince George on Tuesday.
