The lots are located near 73rd St, off of the East Bypass Rd. The view from the air shows them as fields with trees.

Ditmarsia Land Sale

Fort St. John’s Director of Legislative and Administrative Services Janet Prestley said the City had declared the properties as a surplus, and advertised them for sale with notice under section 26 of the Community Charter.

She said Ditmarsia Holdings were the only buyers that submit a bid.

For an unserviced lot such as this, real estate agent Ron Rodgers says the value of the lot sounds about right at $42,000.

He says the costs of what the owners will have to do to service the lots is usually factored into the asking price – and around $40,000 for the lots  is what he’d expect.

Ditmarsia Holdings was not available to comment on their acquisition of the land.
