A man was walking home from the Patterson Mall area, where he had purchased a case of beer, on Saturday night.

He was then approached by another unknown man, who pulled out a knife and demanded the beer.

The victim punched the suspect and managed to get away with a minor injury.

RCMP say their suspect was last seen on the ground near Patterson Mall, around 84th Ave.

The area was surveyed the area extensively at the time of the call, but searching has yielded no results so far.

Police describe the suspect as a Caucasian man in his late 20’s of average height. He has a scar under the right eye, dark goatee, long dark hair, and was wearing black hoodie.
