The BCSPCA’s North Peace branch hosted a fundraiser on Saturday night, and before expenses are factored in, Branch Manager Candace Buchamer said that the gross total of sales is $13,458.75.

She said they sold 281 tickets this year, which were $40 each. Tickets did not sell out before the event started at 8:30 PM on Saturday night.

There are still quite a few silent auction items that have to be claimed, according to Buchamer. One of those big ticket auction item is two flights to anywhere WestJet flies to, which had a winning bid of $1,400.

The branch took to Facebook to thank those that helped make the evening come to life.

Sending out a HUGE thank you to everyone who attended our Halloween Howl last night! We are also so very grateful to all the volunteers and staff who helped with this event in all areas! Decorating, working at the event and take down…. We couldn’t have done it without you!!
