Just in time for Halloween, Stage North is debuting one of Shakespeare’s most notorious plays: Macbeth.

Directed by Dawn Ljuden, Stage North describes the play as Shakespeare’s “shortest tragedy,” which “tells the story of a brave Scottish general named Macbeth who receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland.”

Macbeth is playing on October 30th and 31st, and November 5th, 6th and 7th at the North Peace Cultural Centre.
