Elections Canada has a first round of estimates for the number of electors on the advance days, and they say 10,878 voters cast their ballot at the polls in the Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies riding.

In the last election, Elections Canada counted 5,070 from this riding. Almost 15 million votes were cast in total.

The BC riding with the biggest turnout? Victoria, with 17,501 voters. The worst BC turnout went to Richmond Centre, with only 6,943 voters.

There were estimates that 3.6 million people voted on the weekend, and they say BC had 507,920 of those voters.

On the other side of the border in Alberta, the Grande Prairie-Mackenzie riding saw a few less than us, with 8,626 votes.

Election Day is October 19th.
