Grande Prairie RCMP members have secured the scene and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit North is attending in support of the investigation. The RCMP is actively seeking the suspect in this event and assures local residents that there is no cause for public safety concern, as this is not believed to be a random act.

This is the limit of available information at this time; however, further details will be provided later in the day as more details are confirmed.
