At 8:50 on Monday morning, a woman driving in the 9300 block of 86th Street noticed a vehicle slowly following a 15 year old girl walking on the sidewalk for over a block.

The woman pulled in front of the suspect vehicle, got out of her car and approached the girl. That was when the other vehicle pulled out and drove away.

Fort St. John RCMP describes the vehicle is described as an older green pickup with rust spots and a small slip-tank on the back, and the driver as an older man with white hair and a cigarette-stained mustache. He was wearing a ball cap and smoking when he was seen.

There was no interaction between the man and the young girl or the woman driving.

Police would like to talk to a man, as it is unknown what the intentions were.
