RCMP say two people have been charged in connection to the recovery of drugs and stolen property on Sunday night.

Dean Stafford and Andrea Hurtig of Grande Prairie are both facing multiple charges of Possession of Stolen Property over $5,000, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.

Beaverlodge RCMP approached a home in Wembley to execute a search warrant on the property.

There, they recovered a large amount of stolen property from the residence including two trucks, a holiday trailer and multiple firearms.

RCMP say that a quantity of cocaine and fentanyl was also seized.

Stafford and Hurtig were scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie Provincial Court earlier today.
