The Fort St. John Kin Club Flyers were in Grande Prairie for the 38th annual Lloyd Head Memorial tournament over the weekend. The team had a win in the round robin over Callahoo and a loss to Yellowknife.
Once the playoff round started the Flyers were rolling. They were victorious in the quarter final over the Edmonton Crusaders and went on to beat the the Sylvan Lake Lakers in the semis.
That set up a final against the host Grande Prairie Knights. The Flyers posted a convincing 7-1 win to take the tournament title.
