The Fort St. John & District Chamber of Commerce is seeking interested individuals to serve on the Board of Directors in the 2015/16 year.

Individuals who wish to apply must be a current member of the Chamber already.

The Chamber says benefits of serving as a Director include “holding a leadership role in the community and the exciting opportunity to continue to attract and encourage more sustainable businesses, as well as offering new ideas that will positively affect the Fort St. John region and businesses.”

A Board Director’s duties include attending monthly meetings, contributing to the organization by sitting on at least one committee, and attending Chamber functions including mixers, luncheons, and special events – to support the Chamber of Commerce.

To find out more, contact the Chamber by phone at 250-785-6037, or email at [email protected].

The Chamber first announced the Board Election on October 5th. They have now called for nominations, and that call will close on the Second Monday of November – which is November 9th.
