Fort St. John is asking the community to become involved in the 2016 High on Ice Winter Festival, as they search for volunteers to help out.

The City is looking for individuals to plan an event or activity that can be included during the weekend.

The festival will take place February 5 – 8 in Centennial Park.

Participants in the past have provided food, games, arts, crafts, music, or some other special event or activity.

People interested in becoming involved in the 2016 winter festival can contact Marissa at 250-794-3262.

Those interested in volunteering are also invited to come to the first stakeholders meeting, taking place at the Kids Arena Field House on November 30, at 12 PM.
