Dawson Creek RCMP say they had a quite week with 160 service calls from for October 25th to the 31st.

Sgt. Ed Reinink said the wildest case that happened on the 31st was that of a fight at a drinking establishment, which resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old man for assault.

The man attempted to fight with police while he was taken into custody, but was ultimately unsuccessful.

He went before a Justice of the Peace and was released on conditions for charges of assault, assault on a peace officer, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.

Reinink called Halloween ‘relatively calm’ other wise, with only 31 files generated for the entire day.
