The deadline for songwriters to enter the Peace Liard Regional Arts Council‘s Alaska Highway Theme Song contest is fast approaching — in fact, it’s this Monday.

The winner will receive $1,000. One song will also win the People’s Choice Award.

The contest wraps up on November 30th, and is enlisting in Roy Forbes and Caroline Woodward to select the songwriter with what they feel is the best Alaska Highway Theme Song – in time for 75th anniversary celebrations in 2017.
