Grande Prairie RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for an armed robbery at Liquor Depot on 92nd St.

Just before 11 PM last night, a man threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded money out of the cash register.

The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of money and headed westbound from the store.

RCMP describes the subject as a thin/gaunt Caucasian man who is about 50 years old, with grey facial stubble and what may have been a splint on his nose.


He wore silver rimmed glasses with clear lenses, blue/grey plaid work coat, a grey toque, dark pants, and black gloves.

Grande Prairie RCMP deployed Police Dog Services and conducted a search, but the suspect was not located.

No injuries were reported.
