Trafficking charges laid for a resident of Horse Lake

HORSE LAKE, A.B. - Beaverlodge RCMP have released information regarding drug trafficking charges in Horse Lake, Alberta.

This morning, at a school bus stop near 72 avenue between 99A street in Grande Prairie, a man in a light blue truck allegedly approached a group of young people and offered them candy.

When the youth refused, the man left without incident.

The truck is described as an light blue, older style small pickup truck with a canopy — and the man is described as being Caucasian, with a shaved head, over 40 years old, and over average height.

Police are working to locate the truck and identify the driver, to investigate the incident further.

RCMP urges parents and caretakers to educate their children to stay away from strangers, and to report any suspicious activity to police immediately.
