Grande Prairie RCMP is continuing their to investigation into what is believed to be a targeted shooting that occurred on Wednesday night, on Highway 43.

The two adult victims were driving on the highway approximately 20 km west of Grande Prairie when several shots were fired at them from another vehicle.

The victims, a man and a woman, received non-life-threatening injuries and were treated.  No one else was injured.

RCMP say the victims have been less than forthcoming with information about the incident, as they keep trying to piece together the events which took place on Wednesday night.
