At about 8:50 this morning, Fort St. John RCMP and BC Ambulance attended to a report of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a logging truck and a car at Mile 60 of the Alaska Highway.

RCMP say the highway will be closed in both directions until further notice, and remind people to drive carefully and be patient as they work to get the highway open as soon as possible.

The Peace Regional Traffic Services, the Collision Reconstructionist, and other support units are also attending the scene to investigate the incident further.
