We’ve been able to catch up with one of the real feel good stories from this week’s Remembrance Day ceremonies on Parliament Hill.

Thanks to Prince George/Peace River/Northern Rockies MP Bob Zimmer, among the thousands who attended the ceremonies was Gary Bath, whom Mr. Zimmer described as a legion member who’s been heavily involved in cadets.

We were able to talk to both men yesterday.

Among the many stories to emerge from these ceremonies in recent times is a growing sense, nation-wide, of a renewed respect for our surviving veterans and those the country has lost in war.
