Closed since noon Monday for what has been described as meetings and the Remembrance Day Holiday, the Fort St. John Medical Clinic is scheduled to reopen at nine o’clock Thursday morning.

It is believed based on what Peace River North MLA Pat Pimm told Moose FM news about two weeks ago, the meetings are a continuation of discussions started this past summer to develop a new model for local primary and community health care.

Here are the comments from Peace River North MLA Pat Pimm earlier this year.

Following the last round of talks on October 23rd, Mr. Pimm indicated very good progress was being made, and the goal is to have the new model ready to be rolled out in “The first part of the New Year.”
