The Fort St. John Northern Metalic Flyers continued on with their winning ways as they welcomed the Whitecourt Wolverines for games on Saturday and Sunday. The Flyers won both contests and had a record of 5-1 in the month of November.

In Saturday’s game the Flyers opened the scoring before the game was two minutes old. They had a 3-0 lead in the second before the Wolverines closed the gap to 3-1. The third period was full of goals with each team finding the back of the net three times to close out the scoring at 6-4.

The two teams played in a rematch on Sunday with the Flyers taking a 1-0 lead 50 seconds into the second period. The score held going into the third period where the Flyers scored twice in a thirteen second span to wrap the game up at 3-0.
