The Fort St. John RCMP are investigating a robbery at the Petro Canada gas station on 100 street.

At approximately 9 p.m. Saturday, an unknown person entered the Petro Canada armed with a can of bear spray. The male demanded cash and cigarettes, which the employee handed over.

The male fled the area heading east in the alleyway which connects to 98 street.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’8” with a slim build. The male was wearing a dark hooded shirt with a white stripe on the left side of his chest. He was also wearing black pants, gloves and a black balaclava.
